Dr. Dean F. Hackett: Raising a Family With Vision and Purpose

From December 2-5, 2010 at Crkva Cjelovitog Evanđelja, we held a family seminar titled "Raising a Family With Vision and Purose".  Dr. Dean and Wanda Hackett were our guest speakers.  Dean has been in full-time Christian ministry since October of 1971.  He has served throughout United States of America, Canada and Eastern Europe as an evangelist, pastor and conference speaker.  Together with his wife Wanda, he has planted four churches and has helped in planting many others.  Through his ministry he has raised up many Christian workers who today are also in full-time ministry serving as missionaries and pastors.  He received his doctorate degree in theology and since 1983 has served as marriage counselor.  Dr. Dean and Wanda spoke for four days on the topic of how to designate vision and mission for marriage and children, healthy communication in marriage, and the meaning of the church in family.

Dr. Daniel K. Darko: How to Withstand Difficult Times

A 3-day seminar was held at Crkva Cjelovitog Evanđelja titled "How to Withstand Difficult Times".  The Guest speaker, Daniel K Darko, spoke about challenges believers face in these difficult times and what is needed to go through them and come out as victors.  He has been able to personally become acquainted with Croatia as he lived here for several years and attended the Theological University in Osijek, and at the seminar encouraged visitors with a strong message, leaving hope and strength for facing daily personal battles as well as those in life and society.  On Saturday June 23rd, a report was shown about the seminar on the religious television show "Duhovni Izazovi" on HTV.

Brad & Angela Weir & Cesar Ruiz: Raising a Lasting Family

"Raising a Lasting Family" was the title of this 3-day seminar at Crkva Cjelovitog Evanđelja.  Brad and Angela Weir from the USA and Cesar Ruiz from Mexico were our guest speakers.  The goal of this seminar was to extend foundational truths and practical insight, as well as help, to parents so that they might succeed in the simple role of parenthood, from conception to adulthood.  Speakers Brad and Angela Weir, with their two children, live in Dallas, TX where they have planted City Church International, at which Brad is the pastor.  Brad, Angela and their children have had the privilege to travel internationally and extend their ministry for families "Building Lasting Families International, which deals with biblical principles for raising children and how to have a healthy marriage.  Speaker Cesar Ruiz from Mexico spoke on the topic of "How to Win the Heart of Your Child".  Cesar is the father of six children, who after many years of research and practice on the topic of winning the heart of your child, travels and teaches on the topic throughout North, Central and South America and Europe.  On Friday July 26th a group from a religious program on HRT recorded a report about our guest speakers and the seminar and was shown on "Duhovni Izazovi" on Saturday July 4, 2009
